My love for photography started when I was in high school. I was the photographer for the yearbook. I, met my husband Robert when I was a senior and he was the assistant photographer for the General Electric Company. He would process, print the film and return the prints to me the next day.  Having a love for photography and each other we were married the next year.                                                                               

      We are from Shenandoah, a very small town and in those days, there were very few professional photographers.                                   Everyone knew that Robert was a photographer. People started asking him to take pictures for their weddings, children, families, anniversaries and senior portraits. Robert continued working at his full time job, so I began photographing and running the business.  Robert and I both earned our Master and Craftsman Degrees from the Professional Photographers of America Association. We taught and mentored hundreds of professional photographers.                                                                                                                                       

      After, out-growing our first home in Shenandoah, we built our second home with a camera room. Production was in the basement with a complete setup for printing. We, then out grew that home.   So, we decided to design and build our third and final home studio, located in Elkton Virginia. We opened the Studio in 1991 and is where we are presently now located.                                                                                                   

      My husband Robert passed away in 2013. Our son, Rodney Good, who was a very talented photographer also had his Master and Craftsman Degrees from the PPA; was a key contributor to our business until he lost his life in 2014. Our daughter, Stephanie is an aspiring photographer and is just beginning her career. I am now photographing the children and newborns of the weddings, senior portraits and families that we did years ago. Our clients have allowed me to watch them grow and have made a wonderful life for me. They are my family!   

     There is nothing like a job that makes people happy and I plan to do that with every session. My clients and my business is a gift from God.
